How long does an allergic reaction last?

You usually don’t get a reaction right away. It can take anywhere from a few hours to 10 days.
Typically, it takes from 12 hours to 3 days. Even with treatment, symptoms can last 2 to 4 weeks.

Vajacials

What is the purpose of a vajacial ?

A vajacial treats ingrown hairs, removes dead skin cells, smooths bumps around the bikini line, prevents and helps with hyperpigmentation, all to maintain healthy and hydrated skin in the vaginal area.

When should you get a vajacial ?

Vajacials are usually follow-up treatments to help deal with side effects of hair removal on the vagina. It is recommended to get a vajacial 7-14 days post-waxing/sugaring or 3-5 days post Shave.

Vajacials with Micro needling

This advance vajacial with micro-needling for scarring and hyperpigmentation can be combined with hyaluronic acid-based serums and growth factors to further improve treatment results.

Micro-needling uses a small device with needles these fine needles puncture the skin in a minimally invasive way. Laser Hair Removal

What is Laser Hair Removal ?

Laser Hair Removal Pre Care

Shaving within 12 hours before your treatment will remove the necessary amount of hair growth to avoid stinging during the procedure. Unlike waxing, we do not need to see the outer growth of the hair to remove it.
Skin should be free of any fake tan and it’s vital not to undergo sun or tanning bed exposure before laser hair removal. Wear a high factor SPF and keep the skin thoroughly moisturized.
For laser hair removal to work, there needs to be a hair follicle present! Do not wax, pluck ,sugar or epilate for up to 4 weeks before treatment. Shaving is acceptable as this does not eliminate the hair follicle beneath the surface of the skin.
Before a treatment of laser hair removal, make sure that your skin is clean, dry and free from any cosmetics, lotions, deodorants or make up.

How do I prepare for Laser hair removal?

What can I expect in my first laser treatment?

Laser Hair Removal Aftercare

Do not pluck or wax any hair on the area that was treated. This can disrupt the treatment process and stimulate the hair follicle, leading to potential regrowth.
Exfoliate the area when any redness has subsided. This will be approximately one to two weeks after your appointment.
Avoid extremely hot baths, showers ,pool ,beach or steam rooms for at least 24- 48 hours, post-treatment.
Apply a vitamin E cream/oil or Bio oil if any pigmentation or discoloration occurs. This will help to soothe the skin.
Avoid direct sunlight for at least two to four weeks following your treatment.
Mineral make-up may be used on any facial areas treated with laser hair removal. To avoid any irritation, other cosmetics should be avoided until the skin has had time to heal.
Avoid the use of deodorants for at least 1 days after your treatment, to avoid irritation of the skin.
Itching is a rare side effect of laser hair removal. However, if this occurs, it’s important not to scratch the affected area as this can break the skin, causing a scab which could lead to scarring.
Avoiding excessive exercise for up to 48 hours following treatment will minimize any irritation

Electrolysis

Laser vs Electrolysis

Its is Important to know the difference between laser & electrolysis hair removal and which will work best for you

Electrolysis treats one hair at a time while laser treats larger areas at a time.

Lasers can't treat white,blonde,or red hairs.Only Black and brown.

Electrolysis sessions are longer and more time consuming than laser.

Electrolysis is better at treating facial hairs as it individually removes all unwanted hairs with precision.

Which option is best for me?

Legs,arms,back,chest once your hair color suits laser is the better ,faster option.We follow up with a few treatments of electrolysis to remove any hairs not killed by the laser to give 100% smooth finish.

Facial hairs can be done with electrolysis as it gives more precision to the treatment but we can also blend with laser for a quicker result.

Underarm and Pubic Area can use a blended method ( Laser and Electrolysis ) for faster permanent results.

How is Electrolysis performed?

Pre Treatment Electrolysis

The following pre-treatment care suggestions should be followed to ensure the best results possible.

Let your hair grow out to 1/8” or 2mm, and shave 2,3 days before your appointment. We need enough length to be able to grab the hair with tweezers.

Please don’t let the hair be very long. If the hair is too long slows us down during the treatment.

If the hair gets too long in between treatments, you can trim or shave with a single blade or electric razor. No waxing,sugaring or tweezing.

Daily moisturizing is especially important. It helps keep the skin hydrated and helps the probe insert easily into the follicle.

Exfoliation 2 to 3 times a week before the appointment, and 1 to 2 weeks after the appointment after the skin is back to normal completely. With a chemical exfoliant.

Drink plenty of water. Keeping your skin hydrated means your follicles have plenty of saline in them which is needed for the current to work well. It also minimizes discomfort during treatment.

Refrain from drinking caffeinated or alcoholic beverages the day of your treatment as these will dehydrate your skin. Caffeine can also increase anxiety, making your treatment less comfortable. If you must consume caffeine (to avoid withdrawal), drink the minimum necessary along with additional eater rehydrate

Avoid any CBD products before and on the day of the treatment.

Have a rich breakfast in the morning.

If you wish, you may apply numbing agent 2 hours before treatment.

Take a shower or bath before your treatment.

Double-check with your doctor when your should have the last electrolysis treatment before your surgery.Every surgery has different requirements and techniques.

Post Treatment Electrolysis

The following post-treatment care suggestions should be followed for the first 24 to 48+ hours after treatment:

Do not touch or scratch the treated area.

Avoid any friction to the treated area.

Apply a smoothing or antiseptic product over the area that is sensitive or subjected to infection during the first 48+ hours after the treatment.

Apply cold water or ice compress if necessary.

Apply healing +antibiotics Cream over the areas subjected to infections, one time during 24 hours after treatment.

Starting on day one applies Soothing Repair Cream 2 to 5 times the first day after the treatment. Avoid contact with oily, perfumed, or alcohol-based products.

Avoid hot baths and saunas.

Do not visit a tanning salon.

Avoid exposure to U.V radiation for 24 hours before the treatment and 48 hours after treatment.

Apply an overall sunscreen (min. SPF 30+).

After 5 to 7+ days or when redness disappears, exfoliate, and moisturize the area.

Use fresh make-up, purchased within the last 90 days to minimize infection
